My highest priority is to streamline the practical test / 61.58 process for each applicant and conduct a practical test that is within the guidance and regulations of the administrator.

I have conducted practical tests and/or proficiency examinations across the entire United States from Portland, OR to San Diego, CA to Miami, FL and lots of places between. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any DPE needs regardless where you are located. All available appointments at the airport listed above are also available at other locations.

Prior to scheduling any activity through checkrider.io , please contact me to verify availability, travel fees (if applicable) and other considerations like weight and balance compliance for Robinson R-22's.

After the initial contact, I will provide you with a PDF file or google form to fill out and return to me.The form will provide me with important information for DMS and general contact information for the applicant and recommending instructor.

Checkride Fee:

• PPL-RH (R-22 / R-44) : $650

• PPL-RH (B206, B407, AS350/H125, B205) : $800

• CPL-RH (R-22 / R-44) : $650

• CPL-RH (B206, B407, AS350/H125, B205) : $800

• Add-On (R-22 / R-44) : $600

• Add-On (B206, B407, AS350/H125, B205) : $750

• Re-Test (Oral and Flight) : $450 (R-22 / R-44)

• Re-Test (Oral and Flight) : $600 (B206, B407, AS350/H125, B205)

• Type Rating (S70 / UH60 VFR ONLY ) : $1500

• 61.58 (S70 / UH60 ) : $1500

Travel Fee:

• Travel fees apply when the practical test takes place beyond 30 miles from U42 (driving distance).
• Travel fee (driving) : GSA Mileage reimbursement rate (due the day of the practical test)
• Travel fee (air travel) : Reimbursement of airfare and hotel/rental car if required (due 5 days prior to the practical test)

Cancelation Policy / Fee (48 hours prior to the appointment):

• $400 if canceled due to applicant eligibility or readiness
• $400 if canceled due to aircraft availability, eligibility or airworthiness prior to the practical test beginning
• Travel fee is not reimbursable within 48h of the appointment (exception for Mileage reimbursement if travel has not started yet)

By booking and reserving the appointment for a practical test, the applicant agrees to all fees and policies listed above. Each activity scheduled will be conducted by Sauer Aviation, LLC.
